Phoenix

A multimillion-dollar refurbishment is complete at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.

Greater Phoenix is home to near-perpetual sunshine and iconic sunsets against the desert sky. The region's 66,000 guest rooms might sound like enough, yet new hotels are on the horizon. Not to be outdone, several main meeting hotels are sprucing up for their future guests.

The North Concourse inside Terminal 3 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has reopened to the public following renovations to its 10 gates. Joining current Terminal 3 residents Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, Spirit Airlines and Sun Country Airlines are five new carriers: Boutique Air, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Contour Airlines and Air Canada. The airport set a new record in 2019, serving 46.3 million travelers.

The 346-room Marriott Phoenix Airport has completed a multimilliondollar renovation. The property offers new guest rooms, meeting spaces, a bar and a pool area. The lobby and meeting spaces have undergone complete redesigns. The 24,000 square feet of meeting space is spread across 15 event rooms. All function rooms were updated with new amenities and decor, such as carpeting, lighting, air walls, digital signage and sound systems.
