Rebecca Turner and Alyssa Poulin have joined Destinations International as its vice president of education and certification, and its product engagement manager, respectively.

Turner brings more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit education-program management and development for domestic and international audiences. Most recently, she served as vice president, global education, professional development and training, for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, where she was responsible for the strategic design, development and global execution of conferences, professional-development institutes and online education and training seminars.

Prior to her role at IAAPA, Turner oversaw operations for enhancing the reach of the American Dental Education Association's existing professional-development programs, services and products, while developing plans for and leading the implementation of new professional-development opportunities. Her other experience includes serving as staff vice president for education development at the National Association of Home Builders, where she oversaw the member-education division that supported 18 conferences, more than 50 courses and webcasts, 230 seminars and 16 professional-industry designation programs.

Before joining Destinations International, Poulin provided development research and consultation for tourism organizations across the U.S., Europe and the Caribbean while obtaining her master's degree in tourism administration at George Washington University. Before that, she served as sales manager for a portfolio of four Marriott hotels, where she oversaw the corporate, government, and tour and travel markets.
